Survei Dimensional Untuk Pemasangan Multibeam Echosounder Laut Dalam di KR Baruna Jaya III

Data batimetri hasil survei multibeam echosounder (MBES) mencakup kesalahan-kesalahan yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, yaitu faktor miss-alignment transduser dan sensor offset dari peralatan yang terpasang di kapal sebagai satu kesatuan sistem multibeam echosounder. Kesalahan-kesalahan ini dapat dikoreksi dengan melakukan kalibrasi multibeam echosounder (patch test). Patch test memerlukan inputan data miss-alignment transduser dan sensor offset yang merupakan hasil dari survei dimensional pada saat pemasangan transducer. Survei dimensional dilakukan dengan metode terestrial dan menggunakan kombinasi peralatan GNSS dan total station. Prosedur survei dimensional dan alignment transduser harus mengacu pada manual sensor-sensor yang dikeluarkan pabrikan. Paper ini bertujuan menjelaskan survei dimensional dan alignment transduser sistem MBES Kongsberg EM 304 di KR Baruna Jaya III yang selanjutnya hasilnya divalidasi dan disempurnakan selama proses patch test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa survei dimensional pemasangan transducer TX memenuhi toleransi sesuai spesifikasi pabrikan untuk nilai roll: 0.146˚ (± 0.20˚), sedangkan untuk nilai yaw: 0.334˚ (± 0.1˚) dan pitch: 0.161˚ (± 0.05˚) tidak memenuhi toleransi. Hasil survei dimensional pemasangan transducer RX memenuhi toleransi sesuai spesifikasi pabrikan untuk pitch: -0.096˚ (± 0.20˚), sedangkan untuk nilai roll: 0.212˚ (±0.02˚) dan yaw: 0.219˚ (± 0.1˚) tidak memenuhi toleransi. Nilai kesalahan pemasangan transducer tersebut divalidasi dengan hasil kalibrasi patch test MBES dan mendapatkan nilai roll: 0.270°, pitch: 0.179°, dan yaw: 0.100°.
