PENGENALAN HUBUNGAN INTERNASIONAL DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19: PERAN WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO)

Abstrak - Artikel ini merupakan hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Departemen Hubungan Internasional bekerjasama dengan Tim 2 Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Diponegoro. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat terkait Hubungan Internasional, khususnya organisasi internasional (World Health Organization/WHO) dalam menangani pandemi global. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi tatap muka yang pelaksanaannya sesuai dengan protokol kesehatan New Normal. Sejumlah topik yang dibahas dalam sosialisasi ini adalah garis besar penyebaran dan bahaya penyakit Covid-19, edukasi pencarian data dan protokol kesehatan melalui website WHO, serta pengenalan WHO sebagai organisasi internasional. Evaluasi terhadap pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan sebelum dan setelah sosialisasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan tingkat pemahaman peserta sebanyak 30% dibandingkan dengan sebelum sosialisasi dilakukan.

Abstract - This article is the result of community service carried out by the Department of International Relations in collaboration with Team 2 Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Diponegoro. This community service aims to educate the public regarding International Relations, especially international organizations (World Health Organization / WHO) in dealing with the global pandemic. The method used in this service is a direct socialization which is implemented according to the New Normal health protocol. A number of topics discussed in this socialization were an outline of the spread and dangers of the Covid-19 disease, education on data search and health protocols through the WHO website, and the introduction of WHO as an international organization. Evaluation of this community service was carried out through a questionnaire distributed before and after socialization. The evaluation results showed an increase in the level of participant’s understanding by 30% compared to before the socialization was held.
