EVALUASI PROMOSI KESEHATAN CUCI TANGAN DALAM PENCEGAHAN COVID-19

Latar belakang : Kasus Covid 19 di Indonesia pada anak usia dini semakin meningkat saat ini. Namun upaya pengendalian terhadap kasus tersebut dengan praktik mencuci tangan belum diterapkan oleh anak usia dini dengan benar karena pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang belum sesuai. Guru menjadi agen dalam perubahan perilaku mencuci tangan yang benar pada anak usia dini. Tujuan program pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dengan promosi kesehatan berbasis pada perubahan perilaku mencuci tangan pada guru anak usia dini. 

Metode : Kegiatan pengabdian promosi kesehatan berbasis perubahan perilaku mencuci tangan pada guru anak usia dini  menggunakan metode ceramah, presentasi, demonstrasi dan simulasi dengan media film dan leaflet mengenai pengenalan virus dan bakteri, waktu mencuci tangan, percobaan alasan mencuci tangan itu penting serta prosedur mencuci tangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengambilan sampel secara purposive. Sampel yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 guru anak usia dini di Taman Kanak-Kanak di kelurahan Petompon kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Analisis menggunakan uji statistic rata-rata (average).

Hasil : Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, seluruh responden menyatakan bahwa pelaksanaan promosi kesehatan mencuci tangan ini termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan nilai 4.

Simpulan : Pelaksanaan promosi kesehatan tersebut efektif memberi dampak dan manfaat dalam perubahan perilaku bagi para guru anak usia dini.
